Shane brings more than 30 years of experience across financial markets, energy infrastructure, and executive leadership roles spanning both start-up ventures and Fortune 500 organizations. He specializes in bridging the gap between projected financial performance and real-world operating conditions, ensuring assets perform as modeled and deliver expected returns.
As both a former and current owner of biogas facilities, Shane has a firsthand understanding of operational risk, asset performance, and the levers required to optimize profitability. This owner-operator perspective allows him to align financial strategy with field execution, delivering measurable value to Ally O&M’s customers and consulting clients.
Shane’s experience spans utility operations, large-scale power generation, and energy technology platforms, including leadership roles supporting the development of major infrastructure projects such as a 600 MW combined cycle power plant and the management of generation portfolios exceeding 100,000 MW of installed capacity. He has also played a key role in building and scaling some of the most successful energy technology platforms in the United States.
Through this combination of financial expertise, operational insight, and infrastructure experience, Shane helps clients reduce risk, improve asset performance, and maximize long-term returns.

Troy has over 30 years of experience leading high-performing teams in the energy, electrical, and biogas industries. As a seasoned subject matter expert Troy is intimately involved in solving some of the most complex problems that arise on behalf of our clients. He directs the design, development, and implementation structure for all Ally O&M projects.
Troy’s expertise formed the foundation of Ally O&M, dedicated to operations and maintenance services across a wide range of asset types. His proven track record spans solar energy systems, power factor correction (PFC) optimization, generator engines, biogas production and processing, oil and gas infrastructure, and more—utilizing AI for predictive maintenance, real-time dashboards for performance monitoring, automated controls for efficiency, and seamless communications for team coordination.
Troy holds a degree in Industrial Electronics. He is a member of the Association of Energy Engineers, Institute of Industrial Engineers, and Society of Manufacturing Engineers. His certifications include OSHA training, a Master Electrician’s license, and specialized courses in cogeneration development and biogas operations.
Michael Hewitt serves as Executive Vice President of Business Development for Ally O&M, where he leads the growth of Ally’s distributed energy operations platform and develops strategic partnerships with developers, portfolio managers, infrastructure investors, and industrial clients. With more than 30 years of experience in operations, construction, and energy infrastructure development, Michael focuses on expanding Ally’s role as a trusted operator of complex energy assets.
Throughout his career, Michael has held senior leadership roles spanning operations management, construction and commissioning, safety leadership, and commercial development. He has built and led teams responsible for the operations, maintenance, and construction of critical energy infrastructure including cryogenic gas processing plants, compression facilities, pipelines, biogas-to-power systems, renewable natural gas (RNG) infrastructure, and distributed power generation plants.
Michael’s experience bridges operational execution and commercial strategy. He has launched new business divisions, developed national field service organizations, and secured and managed tens of millions of dollars in energy infrastructure projects while maintaining strong operational performance and disciplined financial controls. His background working directly with operators, developers, and infrastructure investors allows him to translate strategic objectives into practical field-level execution.
At Ally, Michael focuses on building long-term partnerships that support the deployment, operation, and optimization of distributed energy infrastructure. His work supports Ally’s mission of delivering data-driven operations, reliable energy systems, and performance-focused asset management for energy assets across the power generation, renewable energy, and industrial sectors.
Tanner has more than 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, construction management, commissioning and industrial facility operations. He oversees the day-to-day operations of multiple facilities including oversight of both onsite and remote operations personnel, managing budgets, maintenance programs, regulatory compliance, and operational performance.
His operations experience has been shaped by a variety of waste-to-energy biogas facilities, biofuel production, and industrial processing plants including a 20-million gallon per year ethanol facility utilizing agricultural and food waste and a 2.3 MMCFD Anerobic Digester to sites running a single biogas powered generator. This experience has given him a unique perspective on how disciplined operational execution is critical to long-term facility performance.
Jonathan is Director of AI Implementation at Ally O&M and an OT and automation leader with more than 15 years of experience supporting mission-critical energy and industrial operations across solar, biogas, ethanol, PFC engines, oil & gas, and large-scale power generation. He specializes in PLC/SCADA systems, data acquisition, and secure OT communications that enable reliable field operations and real-time decision-making.
Jonathan designs AI-assisted notification pipelines that protect critical communications uptime and builds AI-based Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that consolidate operational knowledge into a single searchable source for faster troubleshooting and improved performance. He also brings extensive commissioning experience across 460+ MW of generation and switchgear assets, with a focus on reliability, maintainability, and disciplined execution.
Ross is an electrical engineer at Ally O&M with more than 15 years of experience in electrical power distribution, controls design, and industrial energy systems. He has served as lead electrical engineer on multiple biogas facilities across the United States and has supported numerous solar generation and backup power projects, specializing in system design, utility interconnection, and commissioning. Ross brings deep expertise in electrical systems ranging from 24V to 38kV, including PLC controls, industrial power distribution, and complex system integration. His experience spans the full project lifecycle from design and permitting through construction, commissioning, and operational support—ensuring reliable and efficient performance of critical energy infrastructure.
Jeremy has more than 30 years of experience in electrical construction and industrial power infrastructure. Over the past 18 he has led nationwide deployment programs across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, supporting large logistics and industrial customers.
A licensed electrician specializing in industrial power systems, Jeremy has overseen the installation and maintenance of large generator fleets, power factor correction systems, and commercial fleet EV charging infrastructure. His work includes nationwide generator deployments for major freight and logistics operators, where reliability, safety, and operational continuity are critical.
Matthew is a mechanical engineer and leads the development and deployment of commercial and industrial solar projects. He has successfully delivered 21 solar installations nationwide, bringing a strong foundation in engineering design, system performance, and field execution.
Leveraging his engineering background, Matthew oversees solar system monitoring, diagnostics, and performance optimization to ensure assets operate at peak efficiency. He manages Renewable Energy Credit (REC) reporting, as well as incentive and rebate programs, helping our clients maximize both operational performance and financial returns.
